A ‘KNOW-HOW’ ON MEASURING

This guide is intended to provide the client with the ‘know-how’ basis, to have the ability to fill in the form in the Quote section so that we can then provide you with an estimation as to what the price would be. Once we reach out and set up a meeting, we will come on-site and our experienced personnel will measure the requested apertures to ensure such measurements are precise.

INSIDE OR OUTSIDE MOUNT?

There are two variants as to how you can initially install blinds. It ultimately depends on your taste and how well you want the sun to be blocked.

With an Inside mount, you would have some light entering from the side of the aperture.

With an Outside mount, there would only be a minimal light glow surrounding the blind, hence it’s more effective and darkness more the room.

Inside Mount Measuring Guide

  1. Place the measuring tape on the inside of the aperture opening, ensuring that both ends of the measuring tape are hitting each side of the opening width. Please note during manufacturing 0.5cm will be deducted from the given measurement as clearance.

  2. Vertically repeat this process so that you can find the height needed.

N.B. - Ensure enough depth is available from the window handle to the blind itself is taken note of, as this will affect the mount decision.

Outside Mount Measuring Guide

  1. Place the measuring tape according to how much coverage you would like. The ideal coverage is to have the blind cover 10cm to each side of the aperture opening.

  2. Vertically repeat this process so that you can choose how long you want it to be, please note if it’s a door, only add 10cm once, for the top part.
